Joseph Van de Kerkhove and his family started a small bakery in Brussels, Belgium in the 1950’s. It quickly became a big success, where the bakery supplied croissants to several restaurants as well as other bakeries.
In 1985, Van de Kerkhove started producing frozen croissants and the Pastridor brand was introduced. Soon it was recognised for its premium, Ready to Bake, all butter croissants. In the following years, a wide range of frozen croissants was developed, and Pastridor found its way to all corners of Europe and far beyond.
