CHICAGO - Feb. 4, 2009 - Last year, Danish pastry from Lantmännen Unibake was served to the Pope during his summer visit to Washington D.C. Now, Lantmännen Unibake can add another great personality to its list: President Barack Obama.
Obama, who was sworn in as America’s 44th President, had the chance to enjoy pastry from Lantmännen Unibake for his Inauguration meetings and parties in the week leading up to the Inauguration.
At the events, our Mini and Large Danish Selection Case were served to President Obama and the attending politicians and dignitaries. The Selection Case is an exclusive selection of our most popular Danish pastries featuring Maple Pecan Plait, Cinnamon Swirl, Vanilla Crème Crown, Apple Coronet and Raspberry Crown.
