It is simply one of our main competitive parameters, and we insist on being in the forefront in this important issue. This philosophy is deeply embedded in the organization, and our procedures apply to all our bakeries around the world.
- Food safety is top priority for our management and part of our business strategy.
- Certification of bakeries according to BRC. New bakeries must be certified shortly after being implemented in Lantmännen Unibake.
- Control of raw materials and suppliers. We make a great effort to ensure the quality of all raw materials and that the suppliers are credible and work according to principles that meet our demands. All suppliers and raw materials are described in detail in our extensive database, which allows us to share knowledge regarding qualities, add notes and comment on in-house experience regarding individual products and business partners on a current basis.
- Tailored standards of hygiene in order to comply with the wishes of the most demanding customers
- Open and honest attitude to customers with any problem. We involve our customers when we meet a challenge and solve the matter before it turns into a problem.
- We open the risks - and close them with a solution. We work actively with risk assessments on all potential risks throughout the value chain to be in the forefront.
- Customers with higher demands set new standards for our whole organization. We apply the demands of our most demanding customers and this leads to many valuable solutions and heightens the standard in our bakeries.
