Our view on climate change is that 25-30 % derives from the food chain. As a major player in the bread business, we are responsible for contributing with sustainable solutions.
Our sustainability strategy
The climate issue is not a passing trend and solid knowledge is the base for improvements. Therefore we have developed a sustainability strategy which we work dedicated to implement.
The main areas in our sustainability strategy are:
- Reduce climate impact from daily business by 33 % in 2020 compared to 2009.
- Include sustainability issues in our future planning.
- Use 100 % sustainable palm oil in 2012 and hereafter.
- Follow up our Supplier Code of Conduct.
