Re-launch of our Danish Pastry assortment: A shiny royal revolution!

Lantmännen Unibake has developed a unique glaze, which makes our pastries even more appetizing. The concept is called ReadyGlazed and has been developed for Schulstad Royal Danish Pastry, which is being re-launched in an even more tempting, ReadyGlazed version.

 

Soon it will be possible to experience the authentic Schulstad Royal Danish Pastry in an even better version. Lantmännen Unibake has developed a unique type of topping, called ReadyGlazed, which both provides a more indulgent pastry, and also makes it possible to preserve the pastry’s freshness all day.

 

"We look forward to introducing the improved Danish pastry assortment to our customers. We have already tested our ReadyGlazed pastry on the UK market and the feedback has been very positive," says Carolin Fransson, Product Manager at Lantmännen Unibake.

 

Improves quality and saves resources

In addition to improving the shine and crispness of the pastry, ReadyGlazed also saves resources for Lantmännen Unibake’s customers, according to Carolin Fransson.

 

“ReadyGlazed is added to the unbaked frozen pastry in our bakery. This means that customers no longer need to spend time glazing the pastry in order to make it shine. Just as before it now only takes maximum 18 minutes to go from frozen product to a delicious, freshly baked Danish pastry,” Carolin Fransson explains and continues:

 

"With ReadyGlazed we begin a new chapter in the history of Schulstad Royal Danish Pastry. Our pastry still stands for quality, authenticity and convenience – but now we have added a new dimension, which makes the products even more tempting.”

 

The new range will reach stores in 2011.
