New Product Development Team

Our dedicated New Product Development Team and facilities, enable us to deliver market leadership through innovation.  Through a combination of market and consumer research, taste panels, bakery tours, innovation workshops, food consultants, and international trade fair visits, we maintain an extensive knowledge of the marketplace. Through our European partnerships, we have access to 15 specialised production sites, giving us the ability and flexibility to develop a wide range of products to meet the rapidly changing needs of this marketplace.

 

Consultants

We work with leading food consultants Raymond Blanc and Dean Brettschneider. They offer expert advice and assist us in developing innovative new bakery concepts.

Raymond Blanc is acknowledged as one of the finest chefs in the world and his inspirational work has received awards both nationally and internationally. We are lucky enough to have been associated with him since 2000 - ever since he described our All-Butter Croissant as “the best I have tasted outside my own kitchens” in fact!

Global Baker Dean Brettschneider

Dean Brettschneider is a renowned baker and patissier with an international following. He co-owns artisan bakeries in Auckland and Singapore and is an award-winning author of nine best-selling books on bakery. Dean has been a valued consultant to us since May 2010, providing expert advice on new product development projects across our product portfolio.
