Hotdog with pickled onions
Ingredients
Serves 10 people
- 10 Royal Durum rolls
- 10 sausages
Pickled onions:
- 100g sugar
- 10 tbs water
- 5 tbs vinegar
- 1 tbs salt
- 1-2 star anise
- 2-3 red onions
- 100g american mayo
- 50g mustard
- 5 sweet potatoes

Remember to toast the roll for a freshly baked feeling.
- Mix sugar, water, vinegar, star anise and salt.
- Heat up brine and add chopped red onion.
- Cool down
- Fry or grill the sausages.
- Toast or grill the hotdog rolls before putting the dish together.
- Top with the pickled onions, mustard and American mayo.
- Served with grilled/roasted sweet potatoes.
