Ingredients
Serves 10 People
- 10 viking flat breads
- 1.8 kg roasted celery shawarma
- 200g tomato salsa
- 200g iceberg lettuce
- tahini sauce
Shawarma marinade:
- 1 chopped chili
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons sumac
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cardamom
- 150ml softened butter
Tahini sauce:
- 150ml tahini
- 5 teaspoons cold water
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Roast the celeriac in whole. When fully cooked, slice it into thin strips. Mix all the ingredients of the shawarma marinade. Let the celeriac marinate over night.
- Grill the flat bread. Put some chopped iceberg lettuce on the bottom and then add a good layer of tomato salsa. Add the roasted and sliced celeriac and top with tahini sauce.
