A further 78% would choose to return to a venue which serves a gourmet patty in a gourmet bun. The research, commissioned as part of our ongoing ‘Trade Up to Gourmet’ campaign, demonstrates the need for gourmet burger buns to be developed by brand and industry experts in order to meet consumer expectations.

The burger tasting pro has previously teamed up with the Americana brand to reveal new burger insights and will now play a hands-on role alongside our in-house team. This will include analysis of new research and trends that have the potential to drive new product development later in the year. The end goal is to help outlets see how stocking gourmet burger buns and on-trend quality fillings can grow their burger sales.
