Korean inspired Kimchi burger

Ingredients

Serves 8 people

  • 8 Americana Gourmet Brioche burger buns
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 beefburgers
  • 16 slices American cheese
  • 18 rashers bacon
  • 160g ready made kimchi

 For the gochujang burger sauce: 

  • 8 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3-4 tsp gochujangpaste (depending how spicy you like it).
  1. For the burger sauce, combine the 2 ingredients and set aside
  2. Preheat the grill and toast the cut side of the buns and set aside
  3. In a frying pan heat the oil until hot, add the burgers and cook turning occasionally until cooked to your liking. Remove from the pan, top each with 2 slices of cheese and keep warm
  4. Cook the bacon at the same time under the grill for 3-4 minutes, turning until crispy
  5. To build the burger, spread the base with kimchi, add the burger, top with the bacon and some burger sauce

Serve with fries
