Hawaiian Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- 1 piece of Euro-Bake Bread (suggestions below)
- 1-2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped Fresh Herbs of your choice: dill, basil, oregano, chives, parsley
- 1/3 cup Shredded Monterrey Jack, Cheddar, Provolone or Colby Cheeses
- 3 slices Canadian Bacon
- 2 slices Pineapple, canned or fresh, chargrill if desired
If you using Luau bread or Brioche, slice in half lengthwise. Butter top and bottom side of bread. Sprinkle with herbs to taste.
Place bottom piece of bread in skillet. Layer with cheeses, Canadian bacon, then pineapple slices. Place bread top on.
Toast sandwich on medium low heat. Flip and toast the other side. Allow the cheese to melt. Cut sandwich in half. Makes 1 sandwich.
