Honey Butter Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich
- 1 Euro-Bake Brioche Sandwich Bun - sliced (74711)
- Brussels sprouts
- 1 bread and butter pickle slab
Spicy Fried Chicken Breast (Yield: approximately 8 each)
- 2 lbs. chicken breasts halved lengthwise
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 ½ T. habanero sauce
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 Tsp. kosher salt
- 2 Tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 Tsp. coarse black pepper
- 1 Tsp. baking powder
¼ oz. Habanero Honey Butter, (Yield: 4 oz.)
- 2 oz. butter softened
- 2 oz. honey
- 1 T. habanero sauce
Habanero Honey Butter:
Combine all ingredients.
Spicy Fried Chicken Breast:
Combine thin cut chicken breasts, buttermilk, eggs, and habanero sauce and let marinate for 1 hour.
Preheat fryer to 365°F.
Combine remaining ingredients. Coat buttermilk marinated chicken breast with seasoned flour mixture and deep fry until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Toast the bun brushed with butter or oil.
Layer bottom roll with pickle slab, spicy fried chicken breast, and drizzle with honey butter, close with the top bun.
